Deeder

Aunt Alvena said that Uncle Anderson nicknamed several of the girls. She was "John," Mama (Gertrude) was "Old Black Elsa," and Aunt Juanita was "Deeder." I'm not real sure how he came up with the names, but he was pretty creative.

Thanks Carolea for the information. Now we know how Mother got the name Deeder, and all the other nick names.
